2009.01.03 Church Hunting

Maya and I promised ourselves that we wouldn't let the month of January pass without finalizing the church at the very least. We tried running around town as early as November to select a suitable church, but that didn't end up too successfully for a number of reasons. So we tried again shortly after New Year's.

This is the San Agustin Church, repainted in apparently what approximated its color as it was in the heydey of the Spanish Colonial Period.

This is an interior shot of the church, from far down the nave. There was a couple getting married at the time. That gave us a good idea of how it'd look if we were to choose it for our own ceremony.

This an exterior shot of the Manila Cathedral. Looks impressive at night, but the reality is a little far from that.

Here's an interior shot of Manila Cathedral... with little ringbearer playing in the aisle while the couple were going through the ceremony.

Oh... and we finally ended up booking Santuario de San Antonio on McKinley Road... I'll post pics next time we're able to go.
